Media Fc Wins Guinness Five A Side Match

In a football match pitting Media FC, a team made up of sports journalists and Team KOT, made up of digital influencers, Media FC walked away 2:1 winners. The two were taking part in a five-a-side tournament over the weekend at EABL Grounds at a mini event sponsored by Guinness. This is part of an ongoing campaign to transform the football experience for Guinness consumers.

After the game, the friendly competitors went to Quiver Lounge, along Thika Road to watch some EPL action over nyama choma and Guinness. The highlight of the evening was a performance by hip-hop star, Khaligraph Jones.

 The matches will be played every weekend with the overall winner to be awarded at the end of the current EPL season (May 28th). The ultimate prize will be a trophy for the winning team, Guinness goodies for team members and branded jerseys of favourite EPL team.

“It was a great experience to come out here and take part in this. It feels much better to play with the guys and be a part of the intensity on a football pitch,” Brian Kimanzi, a social media influencer and football fanatic expressed his delight at being a part of the mini tournament.
